Melissa
Founder & Aesthetics Injector

Melissa is a Registered Nurse who holds a master’s degree in Nursing and graduated in 2008. She has worked as a critical care nurse in the ER and later worked in the community with individuals with dementia. She also worked for UFV in the nursing program as a professor and a clinical instructor.

Melissa completed her basic and advanced neuromodulator and dermal filler courses through Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics in 2022. She has a passion for aesthetics and enjoys connecting with her clients in the clinic. Melissa is extremely dedicated to her clients achieving their desired results and develops a detailed treatment plan individualized to her client.

Melissa began The Beauty Group in June of 2023 with the support of Dr. Garrett. The Beauty Group name originally came from TBG which are the initials of her nephew and niece and with a little brainstorming, The Beauty Group was born.

Shayna
Aesthetics Injector

Shayna became a Registered Nurse with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2006 and then completed her Masters degree in Nursing in 2013.

She had various experiences in many areas from medical and surgical nursing to maternity and has been a faculty member at BCIT’s School of Nursing for over 10 years.

Shayna received her aesthetics training from the Canadian Board of Medical Aesthetics and looks forward to furthering her education in this area.

Coming into medical aesthetics is not too surprising once you get to know Shayna. She loves all things that involve self care of the body and mind and finds it very rewarding to help others feel confident in their own skin. She loves to connect with her clients to ensure she is providing the best treatments for each individual.

Courtney

Aesthetics Injector

Courtney has been a Registered Nurse for 8 years. She has cultivated expertise as a Critical Care Nurse in the Emergency Room and possesses a background in travel nursing. Additionally, she has dedicated the past three years to specializing as a Women's Health Nurse at an ambulatory clinic.

Courtney holds certifications in Botox and Fillers from the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, she continues to train to receive her mastery in these certifications showcasing her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field.

Known for her social nature and enthusiasm for connecting with new people and clients, Courtney is deeply passionate about empowering individuals to prioritize their health and wellness. Her mission is to instill confidence in her clients, aiding them in achieving their beauty goals with personalized care and expertise.
